The new exhibition

Thanks to the financial support of Regione Lombardia, the Museo Astronomico di Brera will have a new look.

The new exhibit will try to answer the basic question: “What does the astronomer do?”
The astronomer observes, discovers, measures, represents… and interprets.
The same actions, over time, with different instruments.

The instruments and the protagonists of the Observatory will welcome you and will lead you through its history, full of unexpected links with the town, its citizens and its culture. You will find ways to understand the wonders of this science, what has become of it today and what can be expected for the future, an everlasting bridge between heaven and Earth.

Here you can follow the different phases of this transformation.
